Bahman
International Cargo (BIC) is a part of the International group
- Bahman General Trading & Contracting Company. Formed in
1953, under the able management of Mr. Abdul Hussain Bahman,
BGTCC has emerged to be one of the leading and highly reputed
companies of Kuwait. the group deals with imports and exports,
sales and services of various commodities. With staff strength
of more than 100, BGTCC has under its umbrella more than 22
domestic and international companies operating worldwide, BIC
being one of them. The Financial Stability of our group could
be refered to National Bank of Kuwait, Burgan Bank, Bank of
Kuwait & Middle East or any other Kuwaiti Bank.
COMPANY PROFILE:
Established
in 1987, BIC is a conglomerate of six major divisions operating
worldwide in the areas of airfreight, shipping, ground handling,
logistics, general sales agencies and transportation. The company
is also involved in the promotion of consignee selling and rendering
cost-effective services to in-house and other commercial entities
with the help of its worldwide associates in more than 295 cities
in 98 countries. As the GSA of Cargolux Airline International,
BIC has its share of market operating four flights a week from
Luxembourg and handling self-documentation for its valuable
customers. The shipments of perishable are delivered to the
consignee immediately upon arrival of flights. We are extremely
active in Iran market operating 2 weekly flights of Cargolux
and are trying to explore possibilities of transit cargo to
CIS states. We are always on the lookout to have joint ventures
in potential new markets. Being a member of various international
bodies has given us recognition and reputation at a global level.
Among
its various strong setups Bahman Group with its base in Tehran
is very active in Iran market from last several years and has
developed consistently export and import of materials. In addition
to name few prominent projects, Bahman Group established and
constructed a shipping jetty at Aasaloo in the northern part
of Iran which is servicing their own business requirements operating
barges regularly between Iran, Dubai and Kuwait for export of
materials like marble, lime stone, bitumen, aggregate etc as
well as providing assistance to various other groups including
many overseas subsidiaries operating on behalf of international
oil companies functioning in Iran under joint venture.
